Harry Hayden – Business Mentor and Coach

Harry entered the IT market in 1984, succeeding in a series of strategic sales roles. Moving into management in 1995, he spent 10 years leading teams selling complex high value IT solutions and services at board level. He set up Perform Business Coaching in 2005 to provide mentoring for business to business (B2B) clients.

Harry previously led teams in a variety of medium and large companies. He has introduced strategies and approaches to help his clients overcome barriers to business growth. He is a pragmatic results oriented business mentor and coach working closely with client management, helping them to work as a single force.

  • Commercial Director at MWR Information Security (board observer) where he led an increase in overall sales of 36% during 15 months of severe recession.
  • Commercial Director at Cognito (board position) where he led a new business turnaround with a 74% increase in total business over an 18 month period.
  • VP Western Europe at Avaya and board director Avaya, Spain. Headquartered in Belgium, Harry drove revenue growth across the region by 89% to $136.
  • Senior Director, EMEA Global Sales at UUNET. A founding director of the global sales group, leading a team of 70 to drive revenues from US$24m to $107m.
  • Global Sales Manager at Motorola Information Systems, where he setup and ran the direct sales, systems integration and business development groups.

Diane has a BA (hons) in education and a certificate in counselling skills. Her role with PBC is to ensure the back office runs far more smoothly than it would if it was left to me alone! Diane also helps with research, in the preparation of presentation and workshop materials and in the development of role-play scenarios.
